Ag Education Day

Kossuth/Palo Alto County Economic Development Corporation, along with the Ag Education Day on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Wild Rose Casino in Emmetsburg and will include lunch. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.

The event will feature topics o trends and implications for Midwest agriculture, marketing grain, US trade policies, and challenging skills needed to face changes now and in the future of agriculture. Guest speakers include:

  • DAVID BEURLE, Founder and CEO, Future iQ
  • DR. DERMOT HAYES, Professor, Iowa State University, Professor Chair in Agribusiness, and Charles F. Curtiss Distinguished Professor in Agriculture and Life Sciences
  • BRENDA CLARK HAMILTON, MA, Ed., Fresh Coffee: Professional Growth Programs
  • CHAD HART, Associate Professor of Economics, Iowa State University, Crop Markets Specialist, and Extension Economist
  • MIKE NAIG, Iowa Secretary of Agriculture, is invited to speak.

Early bird registrations will be offered at $30 per person through Feb. 28th. After March 1, the registration fee will be $35 per person. Cost for students is $15.
